Messy Luminous Being Meditation Sessions at Scapa Fest

The brand new Messy Luminous Being Meditation Sessions at Scapa Fest are an opportunity to explore breathing and meditation as methods of inner navigation back home to our most luminous selves.

In these session, we will discover new ways to integrate these practices into our beautiful messy lives just as they are. We don’t need to step out of our lives or wait for things to calm down or hold off until we’ve finally got it all together. Practices that connect us to our inner luminosity and potential are most valuable in our beautiful messy real lives. This is our home. This is where we live. In the beautiful mess. And this is where our most luminous selves want to be.

I can’t wait to share how easy and exciting it can be to incorporate breathing & meditation into life when we let go of what we think it’s supposed to look like.

So come just as you are, and together we’ll explore breathing and stillness practices that don’t take any time at all but weave fluidly into life here at Scapa Fest and beyond.

These sessions are led by Sarah Beth Hunt, a meditation and yoga instructor as well as the founder of Messy Luminous Being, a community with a weekly podcast, online memberships and courses. Sarah has trained for over a decade in both yoga and the Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhist meditation. Life also brought its own beautiful kind of training, and the experience of raising two young boys, running her own business and living in busy real life inspired Sarah to innovate ways and methods of practice. She now teaches yoga, breathing and meditation in ways that fit in with life when things look nothing like a monastery or retreat centre.

Come say hi on Instagram @sarahbhunt or find Sarah’s books, courses and more at The Messy Luminous Being Podcast comes out weekly on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, GooglePlay and online at Libsyn.

An invitation, an opportunity and an experience

This programme of Scapa Fest 2021 is an open invitation to explore your relationship with yourself and the world around you from the inside out and the outside in.

This is an opportunity to set your mind free, so it can create and engineer visionary solutions for a better balanced human society. This is a chance to give your hands & soul the precious gifts of traditional knowledge, crafts and skills.

We always receive more than we pay for when we get to actively participate instead of passively watching.

At Scapa Fest, the transaction is never complete and closed. We start a journey from which we can only return with more energy, peace of mind and freedom than we started with.

With each version of Scapa Fest, I call for experiences that are intimate, personal, and unique. I call for the creation of a multitude of powerful “you have to be there” moments.

Only through action we become the bridge between the challenging and the possible. Through daily actions, big and small, secret and public, inspired or sometimes fearful and even hesitant.

That’s why we choose to define Scapa Fest as a sustainable living IN ACTION event.

What to do next

We hope you make the most of the fantastic programme and find time in amongst it all to relax and explore the estate and all it has to offer.
