Clemence Cocquet

Founder | Director

Originally from France, Clemence is a sea creature and a nomad mother. Her life is built around creative movement and adventure. She is passionate about the human body’s ability to transform itself and strongly believes in the healing power of movement. 

In 2013, alongside her career as a visual communication and brand identity expert, she trained with Victoria Cunningham-Downey and became a certified Pilates Instructor. She then received additional extensive specialist training in Spinal Injuries and Orthopaedic Rehabilitation from NHS Scotland, where she helped rehabilitate patients from 2012 until 2017.

Based in Scotland, you’ll find her on her mat at the Kali Collective, exploring the world with her two children, kayaking the West coast of Scotland or cycling in Iceland, Norway & beyond.

Steph Wall

Yoga Programme Curator
Originally from Canada, Steph is the Co-Founder and Principal Teacher at The Kali Collective. She has over 500hrs of Power Vinyasa training, primarily with Julia McCabe.
She has worked extensively with students with disabilities and has a passion for bringing yoga to everyone no matter their condition. Steph has spent many hours training with physiotherapists to grow her knowledge of anatomy and has also focused her studies on Yoga philosophy, Traditional Chinese Medicine and energy healing.
Steph has also trained in Total Barre and Reiki and uses all those tools to deliver a strong, introspective, loving vinyasa class.

Jenny Clark

Yoga Programme Curator

Jenny Clark is a Vinyasa Yoga Teacher and Kids Yoga Teacher and has been a dedicated student of yoga for over 10 years. As a co-founder of The Kali Collective and Firefly Yoga for Youth, Jenny's s future goals include seeing yoga in the curriculum of UK schools. Her passions for self discovery and growth weave their way into her teachings through intention setting, inward attention and mindful movements.  

Through extensive travel and 5 year of study with various teachers in various styles, Jenny has developed a unique style that is grounded in Vinyasa and combines powerful transitions and breath initiated flows with deep, intentional holds leaving you feeling alive, grounded and balanced.

Now based between London and Glasgow Jenny loves exploring workouts to compliment and strengthen her yoga practice and can be found anywhere from a gym lifting weights to a dance studio, trying to find rhythm!

Neil Harvey

Adventure Programme Curator

Neil comes from a background in Outdoor Education and change management. Originally from Scotland, Neil instructed for Outward Bound in both Canada and New Zealand before taking on the role of Quality Risk Manager for Outward Bound Australia.

Neil returned to Scotland in 2012. He lives on the Isle of Mull from where he runs Wild Journeys and Wild Campers.

Neil holds a Mountain Leader Award from the Mountain Training Association.

Alix Mackay Inbound Marketer, Glasgow

Alix MacKay

Marketing Manager

Alix is an Inbound Marketer – creating and optimising online marketing programs for companies offering high quality products or services. Alix was Inbound certified and set up her freelance business in Glasgow in 2016. This followed a career in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry in which she led the UK marketing of priority brands. Alix has also had roles in sales and training and has a degree in Chemistry.


Jane Seymour

Event Manager

Janey earned her BA degree in Technical & Production Arts at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.  Since then she has built her career up in the outdoor event industry working on small to large scale festivals like the Edinburgh International Festival and Book Festival and Edinburgh Christmas & Hogmanay.  She has a real passion for the outdoors all year round, whatever the weather. Janey now bases herself in Argyll after working on a local festival and falling in love with the breathtaking landscape and welcoming community.
