Medicinal Baking

This is a LIVE workshop starting on 15th March 2021. This course explores the #scapalife approach to baking with ingredients with medicinal properties as a Scapa Life activity in the context of sustainable living. You will learn: introduction to medicinal baking, introduction to health-enhancing baking processes and techniques and medicinal baking recipes for year-round occasions.

  • The process of sprouting as health-enhancing technique
  • Why and how to use sprouted grain in recipes

  • The process of infusing medicinal plants
  • How to make a health-infused cake for a special occasion

By the end of Lesson 4, you will understand:

  • The process of making medicinal syrups
  • How to make a health-infused cake for a special occasion

By the end of Lesson 5, you will understand:

  • The health benefits of cooking with blossoms
  • How to make health-infused breakfast crepes
