Scapa Fest: A Family Festival
Igniting that spark...
Scapa Fest is a family festival. It is a place for families to share discoveries and practices through transgenerational activities: learning from doing together.
"Teaching children about the natural world should be seen as one of the most important events in their lives."
- Thomas Berry, The Dream of the Earth
When dreaming up Scapa Fest, I envisioned a place where children could return to, year after year, with their parents. I also envisioned a place where parents could come to without their children, to fully find themselves again.
We have a limited amount of tickets available for children to take part in the Scapa Club, a children camp every day of the festival between 10am - 5pm, giving you a chance to attend some workshops. Children 5-11 are welcome.
