Packing for Scapa Fest: keeping warm
Keeping yourself and your children warm is an important part of a successful Scapa experience. The experience takes place entirely outdoors. Layering is key. We have two fire pits & hot water for tea and coffee breaks or to fill up a water bottle (bring your own).
Most important items
The most important items to bring are: multiple warm layers, reusable foodware and drinkware and a towel.
Strictly no disposables
Since 2016, we have taken a firm stance against any kind of disposable foodware. As a result, we ask you to bring your own reusable food container, cutlery, glass and cup. No alternative will be available on site.
Yoga and Meditation Sessions
Bring your own mat. If you are pregnant or have a medical condition, please inform the instructor before starting the session so they can advise you. Arrive on time.
Bring your swimming costume, a towel, and shoes you don’t mind getting wet. Bring extra layers for when you get out of the water. The water of Loch Fyne is cold. If you are pregnant or have a medical condition, please inform the instructor before starting the session so they can advise you. Arrive on time.
Bring a waterproof jacket, trousers and walking boots. Arrive on time.
